Sleep Please

8 Apr

Escape my boy escape.
Elope my girl elope.
Dissent my boy descent.
Relent of course recant.
Close your eyes then float
To ‘relax’ world,
And spend all those ‘tired’ dollars
On zed beds and sleeping boats.
Visit the stores in dream town,
Supermarket dash for REM gowns.
Count the sheep on slumber farm,
Counting on, whilst keeping calm.

Another Hypochondriac Dream

8 Apr

I think my ears are full of wax,
Cant hear the talk, telly phone and fax,
Miss all the best new rocking tracks,
Lose my balance, I’m on my back.
Probably need to use a cotton bud,
Probably need my ears syringed,
oh golly gawd, go to the doctors,
think I should?
I will, I’ll have to make an appointment,
Only if I wanted to I spose, but I never do,
Just moan all about my illness to
All my friends, yes, even you.
What do you think I should do?
See the quack, the medic dude,
He’s really clever and very shrewd,
‘Now change you habits!’, ‘change your food,’
I’ll say ‘I will…’ I won’t be rude, just
As long as I’m better, ‘when I’m cured!’.
There’s plenty of time, I’m well insured
But I fell down again and its such a drag
Well that’s just me on the floor and that’s my bag.

Seat of Leadership

8 Apr

Yes the seat of leaders
Yes the stupid bleeders
Rich, tall and privileged
All terribly civilised
But let’s not forget
The lies and regrets
That walked corridors
And made up the law
Keeping us down
To prop up the clowns.

Purple, Turtle, Hurtle

8 Apr

I might still have a royal flush
Its colour doesn’t really matter
You don’t look like me, you’re pink
I’m not going to make a fuss
If your tall or small or fatter
Doesn’t mean the honky’s stink
Whether you’re a king or a queen
You don’t look like me, you’re green
And I don’t care for real fresh cream
That doesn’t mean you’re mental mean
Just because I’m not society
You don’t look like me, you’re blue
Or forsake hard-line sobriety
Doesn’t mean that you’re not true
I may have been there in your class
You didn’t look like me, your purple
But I didn’t have your pass
That doesn’t mean you cannot rhyme
Unless you hurtle like a turtle
Can it mean you’re out of line or sinful
Mean or not kind or very rude or frightful
So the opinion remains the same
It’s just the difference bothering you
Whether fear or scars and pain
And all the ignorance of a few.

Little Johnny and the Spider

8 Apr

Little Johnny sat in a tree
Eating his bacon and
Drinking some tea
When along came a spider
That sat down beside him.
‘Well how do you do?’
Said the eight legged crew
With his 9 little eyes
And his spindly thighs
‘I do very well’
Said Johnny to this
With a smirk and a hiss,
Began to take the piss….
‘Alright nine eyes’ he said
‘Bet its expensive buying glasses,
and wipes for your lenses buying
Shoes and some trousers
Or Millions of new razors
For your hairy legs…….’
oh what a wheeze!
The tree spider looked
He trembled and shook
then looked at the sky and said
‘Fibbledy fuck….’
He looked at the boy and said
‘My you are rude!, your dirty
and smelly and terribly crude…..
Hope you die soon & horribly too,
Then have a brain haemorrhage
Or choke on your food…
I hope you get embarrassed
When girls look at you
With frightened expressions
When your in the nude.
The little boy laughed
The little boy roared
He fell out of the tree
And squished on the floor.
Little Jimmy sat in a tree
Eating his sausages and
Drinking some tea
When along came a spider
That sat down beside him….

Wave of Dignity (a tribute to Japan)

8 Apr

A warning over transmitted waves
We have been taught once before
The power of mother natures ways
Not once, or twice but many more
Quakes make a drop in the ocean
Shifting water when pressures raised
When the Japanese shook with emotion
They waited and submitted names
Old fears of nuclear fission
After seeing the coast swept away
They make it their primary mission
To clean up dignified each day
No matter what ever it has cost
Respect to each other and law
They cast love to those they have lost
Helping spirits close many dead doors.
